John Zarei today serves as the company's Chief information officer, directing the activities of the web services practice. As an IBM Certified for e-business - Solution Designer, John has been the lead concept designer of Point Alliance’s Launch Pad for Web content management product. John also plays an integral role in Point Alliance's overall business development and strategic planning.
John is responsible for all of Point Alliance’s Hosting and Managed Service offerings as well as managing in the internal operations team.
Before co-founding Point Alliance, John was with IT leader Cognicase, where he served as a Vice-President of Consulting Services. While at Cognicase, John helped design and develop collaborative and web solutions for such industry leading companies as Cadillac Fairview, J.J Barnicke, Canadian Blood Services, Seton Hall University, Sherritt International, Deloitte & Touche, Wrigley’s, Ernst & Young, and Financial Services Commission of Ontario.
